ÖHLINS HD 772/776 SHOCK ABSORBER 1990-2024 Touring

The Öhlins HD 772 Blackline is a classic STX monotube design, featuring quality that delivers the performance you need for your Harley-Davidson. The STX36 line of suspension is one of the most successful designs of all time.

These Blackline Twin shock absorbers are specifically designed for the Harley-Davidson FL Touring (1990–2022) models.

Featuring Öhlins’ proven monotube design and high-pressure nitrogen gas-charged damping system, the shocks are equipped with an internal dividing piston in the main body of the shock.

With built-in preload adjusters, you can change the spring preload for variations in weight to maintain proper steering geometry.

We offer multiple spring rates for the STX36 Blackline Twin shocks, giving you more tuning options to achieve the perfect setup on your FL.

SELECT SPRING rate based on the loaded weight added to the motorcycle. This would include Rider, Passenger, gear and luggage. Ideally the spring rate will cover the range from solo rider with no gear to 2 up fully loaded. If the spring rates offered do not meet your requirements, please contact us and we can build them to your specifications.

This divided piston type shock features rebound adjustment, length adjustment and easy-to-use pin tool preload adjustment with multiple spring rate options to fine tune your ride.
